FESTIVAL OF FRIENDS / SEATTLE, WA
Festival of Friends Events are made up of:
- Pre-organized cover song performance collectives showcasing material by iconic bands and artists performed by a rotating cast of musicians over the course of the evening.
- Guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists and vocalists (available instrumentation is material dependent) who've registered in advance for the songs they want to perform on their primary instrument.
- During open registration participants choose a minimum of 2 songs and a maximum of 4 songs (based on your primary instrument(s). If there are additional songs available that you're interested in playing on (beyond your initial selections) we'll notify you about remaining options (at no extra cost) after open registration has closed.
Festival of Friends Events are for:
- Armchair musicians as well as routine players with an intermediate to advanced-level skill set (even if its been a while and you're just looking to kick off the rust).
- Who can learn material on their own and readily apply it in a live event setting. There are no auditions or formalized rehearsals.
- The only requirements for participating musicians is to come to the show ready to perform (i.e., know the songs and your parts), be respectful to your event band mates and to have lots of fun!

Hard rock is a term that's frequently applied to any sort of loud, aggressive guitar rock. This event will highlight a range of hard rock acts from the 1970's as well as a few selections from the 80's and 90's. From the lean, stripped-down riffs of AC/DC and Aerosmith, the catchy tunes and stage theatrics of Alice Cooper and Kiss, to the high-energy and groove-laden hooks of Thin Lizzy and Heart, if you like to rock, Hard Rock Classics is a not to be missed bandshare experience.
