Opening Act - Mini-Songmixers are made up of:
Opening Act - Mini-Songmixers are made up of:
- Pre-organized cover song performance collectives showcasing a 6-song set of material by iconic bands and artists performed by a rotating roster of FoF community musicians as the evening's opening act entertainment.
- Guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists and vocalists who've registered in advance for the songs they want to perform on their primary instrument(s).
- During open registration participants can choose up to 2 songs initially (based on their primary instrument/s and ability-level). If there are additional songs available that you're interested in performing on (beyond your initial selections) we'll notify you about any remaining options after open registration has closed.
- Participating musicians MUST have the ability to accurately learn material (based on specified studio recordings unless otherwise specified) on their own and readily-apply it in a live event setting. There are NO formalized rehearsals with the Songmixers format prior to the event, so coming prepared is mandatory.

Note: If you're signing up for "Guitar 1" as your primary instrument you're committing to lead and rhythm guitar parts whereas "Guitar 2" primary instrument is rhythm guitar-parts only. Overall song presentation by all musicians should follow standard instrumentation and arrangements as originally recorded on the song's studio versions, keeping everyone on the same page regarding practice time and event performances.
