Participation Rules
- To be eligible for the Discography format you must have previously participated in either a Festival of Friends Songmixers or Bandmixers event OR you've been pre-approved to participate in a specific Discography band.
- Because solo learning/practicing along with the ability to readily-apply your individual parts into a group setting at your band's dress rehearsal participants are also required to have (in addition to the aforementioned) an intermediate to advanced-level skill set and playing ability (see FAQ) to participate in Discography.
- If you're new to the community (and/or unsure if a given band is the right fit for your particular skill level) and have interest in participating drop us a note and tell us a bit about your playing background, ability to learn material on your own, etc.
Programming Format
- We pre-select four iconic albums and choose five classic tracks from each to make up four Discography bands.
- Participating musicians self-select into one of the event's four showcase album bands based on their primary instrument(s) and interest in the material.
- Performing bands are made up of the same group of musicians throughout a designated set (versus a rotating roster with the Songmixers format).
- Each band's set is made up of 5 curated (predetermined) songs from the album they've registered for.
- We host a mandatory pre-event meet-n-greet (one per band) two months ahead of the event as a launch point for each group.
- We host one mandatory/formalized band rehearsal (one per band) the week of the event.
- Participant cost is $125 and includes:
- Dedicated band members
- Band meet-n-greet
- Band coordination and organization
- Curated five song album set
- Organized/mandatory dress rehearsal
- Pre-booked venue & show promotion
- Awesome live show for friends, family and community!

Note: If you're signing up for "Guitar 1" as your primary instrument you're committing to lead and rhythm guitar parts whereas "Guitar 2" primary instrument is rhythm guitar-parts only. Overall song presentation by all musicians should follow standard instrumentation and arrangements as originally recorded on the song's studio versions, keeping everyone on the same page regarding practice time and event performances.

Step One: Claim Your Album
During registration participants choose the album and primary instrument they want to perform in the band. If a slot is filled you can request to be placed on the wait list HERE.

Step Two: Submit Payment
Payment reserves your album selection and instrument choice. Payments are processed through PayPal with all major debit/credit cards accepted.
