How It Works
Festival of Friends Events are made up of -

- Pre-organized cover song performance collectives showcasing material by iconic bands and artists performed by a rotating roster of musicians over the course of the evening.
- Guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists and vocalists (available instrumentation is material dependent) who've registered in advance for the songs they want to perform on their primary instrument.
- During open registration participants choose a minimum of 2 songs and a maximum of 4 songs (based on their primary instrument). If there are additional songs available that you're interested in playing on (beyond your initial selections) we'll notify you about remaining options (at no extra cost) after open registration has closed.

- Armchair musicians as well as routine players with an intermediate to advanced-level skill set (even if its been a while and you're just looking to kick off the rust).
- Who can learn material on their own and readily apply it in a live event setting. There are no auditions or formalized rehearsals.
- You enjoy the community and social aspects that collective music-making and live performance provide.
- The only requirements for participating musicians is to come prepared and ready to perform (i.e., know your songs and your parts accurately), be respectful to your event band mates and have lots of fun!

CLASSIC ROCK RADIO
Classic Rock Radio showcases an array of bands and artists from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. From the anthemic rock of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers to the edgy yet accessible pop of the Pretenders to the southern grit of The Black Crowes and timeless sounds of Led Zeppelin, song selections in this event explore a range of styles and eras from rock and roll's dynamic past.
This 20-song show will feature music from the following iconic bands and artists including: Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Foreigner, AC/DC, Pretenders, The Rolling Stones, Toto, Bonnie Raitt, Billy Squire, Jefferson Airplane, 38 Special, The Black Crowes, Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles, Bad Company, Pat Benatar, Tommy Tutone, Neil Young and Led Zeppelin.

Note: If you're signing up for "Guitar 1" as your primary instrument you're committing to lead and rhythm guitar parts whereas "Guitar 2" primary instrument is rhythm guitar-parts only. Overall song presentation by all musicians should follow standard instrumentation and arrangements as originally recorded on the song's studio versions, keeping everyone on the same page regarding practice time and event performances.

Step Two: Submit Event Payment
Payment reserves your song selections and stage time. Additional songs above your initial selections are available to paid participants at no extra cost once open registration has closed. Payments are processed through PayPal with all major debit/credit cards accepted. |
