What are Bandmixers events about?
We curate the bands. The musicians choose the material. Collaborative curation.
In addition to Festival of Friends standard Songmixers event programming we also host customized special events featuring our Bandmixers format. Festival of Friends Bandmixers feature "curated" cover bands made up of hand-selected musicians from within the Festival of Friends Events bandshare community. Each curated band selects their musical theme and set list and performs a 30-minute set of material honoring some of rock music's most iconic bands and artists.

Fire insurance up to date? Cuz we’re stokin’ the flames of punk-n-roll one tune at a time. Dude, stand back…this isn’t a game. Unless your skull is flame retardant, you’re going to walk away on fire with our catchy riffs and lyrical pyrotechnics. Vulgar? Yes. Flair for the dramatic? You betcha. Light the fuse … Then Bang.
Then Bang based in Seattle features: Victoria Selwyn (Vocals), Steve Klusman (Bass), Alfredo Tryferis (Guitar) and Jeff Dakus (Drums), Carly Greyell (Keys).

SHARKLEGS
- 11:15 PM -
- 11:15 PM -
In their self-titled debut LP Seattle-based group SHARKLEGS plays with classic psych-pop patterns elevated with experimental synth and accented with intelligent percussion. SHARKLEGS evokes bands like Dr. Dog, Tame Impala, The Apples in Stereo, and the White Stripes. Recorded at Fastback Studios with Jason Lackie, the debut LP showcases strong performances from the psych-pop trio.
Ryan Bedard (guitar, vocals and piano) uses melodic vocals that contrast his existential and sometimes melancholy lyrics. Jacob Jones (bass and synth) brings in hints of noise adding texture and dynamics. Landon Cross (drums) adds warmth and precision. Lyrically and musically SHARKLEGS jumps from light to dark and back again.
Released in early 2018 the band's debut album has been well received including a sold out performance at Seattle's own Sunset Tavern.
