Bandmixers: How It Works
Bandmixers participants can pre-register and sign-up for a published event securing a spot as a dedicated band mate of one of the event's showcase bands - performing with the same group of musicians for the duration of your stage time.
The Bandmixers format can be summarized as follows:
Bandmixers participants can pre-register and sign-up for a published event securing a spot as a dedicated band mate of one of the event's showcase bands - performing with the same group of musicians for the duration of your stage time.
The Bandmixers format can be summarized as follows:
- There is ONE formalized rehearsal for the band included in your registration fee. In preparation for the rehearsal each band member learns their respective parts independently and at the scheduled Bandmixers event we bring it all together as a dedicated band on stage!
- We host one pre-event meet-n-greet (per band) as a kickoff point for each group. This brings band members together to meet, discuss and decide upon a theme and related song selections.
- There are a predetermined number of mini-set performances at the showcase event (2 to 4 bands per event) showcasing various musical themes (bands are provided a 3 different themes to choose from) from classic bands and/or artists within a particular genre or material from a specific artist and/or group.
- Each mini-set is made up of five to six classic songs with each band made up of the same group of people throughout a designated set.
- Cost is $100 per participant and includes:
- Like-minded band members
- Pre-selected band theme and songs
- Five-to-six song set
- Pre-event band meet-n-greet
- Two organized band rehearsals
- Complimentary drink for each performing musician
- Awesome show for friends, family and community
