THE OFFSPRING / GREATEST HITS - COMPILATION (2005)

Picture
The Offspring are an American punk rock band formed in 1984 in Garden Grove, California. Led by vocalist/guitarist Dexter Holland and guitarist Noodles, they rose to mainstream success in the 1990s with fast, melodic punk anthems that mixed humor, social commentary, and pop sensibility. Albums like Smash (1994), Americana (1998), and Conspiracy of One (2000) helped popularize punk rock worldwide, making The Offspring one of the best-selling punk bands of all time. The band is known for high-energy songs like “Self Esteem,” “Come Out and Play,” and “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” which became staples of 1990s alternative rock radio.
