Below you'll find more information regarding your band's assigned genre themes (three in all) as well as your band's session song selections and the musicians you've been matched up with for this session. You and your Playlist Roulette band members have been assigned three songs for your session from three different genres: Late 70's Classic Hard Rock (1979), 90's Alternative Rock (1998) and 80's Pop Rock (1984) for the May 28 Playlist Roulette session. Read on for further details and information!

Welcome Sarah Sharratt & Heidi Hugley (Lead/BG Vocals), Tim Currier (Lead-Rhythm Guitar), Kellen Holgate (Lead-Rhythm Guitar), David Yarbrough (Bass) and Bill Pearce (Drums) to the Wednesday, May 28 Playlist Roulette session. Session band members will be introduced at the Roulette Reveal happy hour on Thursday, May 1 at the 4B's Tavern!

MAY 28, 2025 SESSION > ROULETTE SONG SELECTIONS

This session's song selections were chosen to provide a stylistic-mix of Late-70's Classic-Hard Rock, 90's Alternative Rock and 80's Pop-Rock material. Song selections are intended to be diverse to expose musicians to different types of material they may not be familiar with or had not considered in the past as well as to add and offer musical variety for all those involved in the session.

Note: If you're signing up for "Guitar 1" as your primary instrument you're committing to lead and rhythm guitar parts, whereas "Guitar 2" is rhythm guitar-parts only unless otherwise agreed upon by participating guitarists. Overall song presentation by all musicians should follow standard instrumentation and arrangements as originally recorded on the song's studio versions (see YouTube links above), keeping everyone on the same page regarding at-home practice time and session performances.
Important Dates & Information-
- Roulette Reveal "All Band Members" Happy Hour: Thursday, May 1, 2025, 5:30pm-7:30pm at 4B's Tavern.
- Playlist Roulette Session: Wednesday, May 28, 2025 (FoF Ballard Studio), 6:30pm-9:00pm
- 6:30pm to 7pm is in-studio pizza and social time.
- 7pm to 8:30pm is for group song preparation and collectively running through the material.
- 8:40pm to 9pm is for the in-studio performance set (each band member can invite one guest in for this).
