MOTLEY CRUE / GREATEST HITS COMPILATION (1998)
Mötley Crüe is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1981. Known for their wild, hedonistic lifestyle and theatrical performances, the band became one of the most iconic acts of the 1980s glam metal scene. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Vince Neil, guitarist Mick Mars, bassist Nikki Sixx, and drummer Tommy Lee. Their breakthrough album, Shout at the Devil (1983), solidified their place in rock history, with songs like "Looks That Kill" and "Shout at the Devil." The band’s combination of glam fashion, heavy metal riffs, and outrageous antics quickly made them a fixture in the world of rock 'n' roll excess. Mötley Crüe’s subsequent albums, including Theatre of Pain (1985) and Girls, Girls, Girls (1987), featured hits such as "Home Sweet Home," "Girls, Girls, Girls," and "Dr. Feelgood" (1989), which became their biggest commercial success.
